Four times we have received the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) award for adventurous programming, and our upcoming season will continue this exciting tradition of innovative programming and talented guest artists.

June 27

Charles Leibfried and Brett Linski perform Copeland Quiet City for Trumpet and English Horn. Along with the orchestra, they will perform Handel Water Music, Donizetti Concerto in G Major, Stravinski Concerto Grosso “Dumbarton Oakes”, and Thad Jones A Child is Born for Flugel Horn.

July 11th

Derek Bromme will perform Ewazen Trombone Rhapsody for Bass Trombone. He will also perform music from composer Mozart Eine Kleineine Nachtmusik, David Diamond Rounds and Purcell Chacony.

July 18th

DeAnn Letourneau returns to perform music by composer Elgar in String Serenade for Violin. Along with the orchestra, she will also perform Wiren String Serenade, Mozart Overture to Don Giovanni, Jacob Old Wine in New Bottles, Kenji Bunch Fantasy, as well as Sarasate Gypsy Airs.

July 25th

Featured soloist pianist Alexander Sandor will perform the beautiful music of composer Ravel in Piano Concerto plus Mozart Symphony No. 32. In addition Alexander will feature on piano Debussy Petite Suite, Jennifer Higdon To the Point and Milhaud LeBoeuf sur le toit.
