Lake Superior Chamber Orchestra

Three times we have received the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) award for adventurous programming, and our upcoming season will continue this exciting tradition of innovative programming and talented guest artists.

June 27th, Sacred Heart

The Lake Superior Chamber Orchestra begins its 26th season with a concert featuring organist Rachael Kresha, who will perform Francis Poulenc's Concerto for Organ, Timpani and Strings in G minor on the historic Felgemaker Organ at Sacred Heart Music Center.

July 11th, Weber Hall

Pianist Dan Rieppel joins the LSCO to perform Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major (Op. 58). Additional works to be announced.

July 18th, Weber Hall

Baritone Jeffrey Madison joins the LSCO to perform the Arnold Schoenberg arrangement of Gustav Mahler's Songs of a Wayfarer. Also Vaughan Williams' Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis, and Rodion Shchedrin's Carmen Suite, based on themes of Georges Bizet.

July 25th, Weber Hall

LSCO musicians Paul Bagley and Jonas Benson move center stage to perform Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante for Violin, Viola and Orchestra in E-Flat (K.364). Also, Samuel Barber's Cave of the Heart, and Igor Stravinsky's Pulcinella Suite.
